The 2013 Moab Music Festival ends summer, offering music performers in the natural landscapes surrounding Moab Labor Day Weekend through September 9th.
Less than a half hour south off Nephi on Interstate 15, Central Utah’s Yuba Lake is a mecca for summer recreation. In addition to warm lake waters and sandy beaches, the Yuba Lake area is ideal for off-highway vehicle riding. OHV and ATV fans kick off their summer adventures at the Annual Yuba Lake Poker Run June 15th. The 2013 event is sponsored by Sequoia Motorsports with courses through Yuba State Park.
Price is home to the Carbon County Fairgrounds, which is a hub of summer excitement. The 2013 Black Diamond Rodeo launches summer fun in Price June 7th and 8th. The Carbon County Fair is another Price summer tradition. The 2013 fair is August 7th through 10th featuring exhibits, carnival games and rides along with more rodeo and barrel racing.
The spectacular scenery of Central Utah’s Castle Country offers outdoor enthusiasts gorgeous trails and destinations for summer adventures and events. In Prince, the Lunatic Triathlon in June, offers athletes a unique event with an early morning start at Washington Park in the light of the full moon. After the run and bike, the Lunatic Triathlon ends with a 300-yard swim in the Desert Wave Pool.
Mammonth Marathons presents the late summer Little Grand Canyon Marathon. Events also include the Half Marathon and 10K, with all courses taking runners through Eastern Utah’s Little Grand Canyon.
