Established in 2003, the Clark Planetarium is set in downtown Salt Lake City in the Gateway District. Clark is home to the ATK IMAX Theater and Hansen Dome Theater – the nation’s first "pitless" digital dome as a planetarium.

Orginally established in 1847, The Days of '47 Parades celebrate the first pioneers arriving in Salt Lake City. The settlers, led by Brigham Young, made their way to the Utah Territory to create a new life – and serves as inspiration for today's festivities.

A USATF sanctioned and certified marathon, the Deseret News Marathon courses through the streets of Salt Lake City. The marathon route starts in Emigration Canyon, heads through the east side of Salt Lake City, and finishes along the Pioneer Day parade route.

Seating over 19,000 sports fans, EnergySolutions Arena, known fondly as ESA, is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Owned by the estate of Larry H. Miller, Jazz Basketball Investors, Inc., the facility is the home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz, as well as the AFL’s Utah Blaze.
In February of 2002, ESA was a venue for the XIX Olympic Winter Games. Today, basketball devotees gather around statues in the arena’s courtyard of NBA greats John Stockton and Karl Malone, the Utah Jazz’s most celebrated stars.
Owned by the City of West Valley City, and operated by the Centennial Management Group, Inc., the Maverik was opened in 1997 – and ideal for major sporting events like hockey, basketball, boxing, and wrestling.
With the seating capacity for over 8,000 race fans, Miller Motorsports Park is located just outside of Tooele, Utah – a half-hour southeast of Salt Lake City. Originally intended as a novelty track for Utah Jazz owner Larry H. Miller, the site was redesigned by Alan Wilson to accommodate auto, motorcycle, bicycle and kart racing.
The park's four asphalt courses regularly host major events like the FIM: Superbike World Championship, the Grand-Am: Rolex Sports Car Series, the AMA Superbike Championship, and the Pirelli World Challenge. Miller Motorsports Park also plays host to the trademark time-trial stage during the Tour de Utah.
Attracting around 78,000 visitors each year, the Natural History Museum of Utah is part of the University of Utah’s Rio Tinto Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Through the work of its four curators – Duncan Metcalfe, Ph.D., Eric Rickart, Ph.D., Mitchell Power, Ph.D., Randall Irmis, Ph.D. – the museum’s mission is to shed light on the natural world and the humans within.

A joint civil-military facility, the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the largest airport in Utah, and serves the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Set in western Salt Lake City, SLC serves as the fourth largest hub for Delta Air Lines.

Established in 1981, the famous Sundance Film Festival is held each January in Park City, located in northern Utah. Set Ogden and Salt Lake City, SFF showcases American-made films from independent artists worldwide, and promotes Utah film making.

Owned and operated by the LDS Church, Temple Square is a 10-acre destination perfect for a look at some of the history pertaining to the church and its ties to the area. The U is also home to the famed Utah Utes athletics department – featuring 11 women's and 7 men's varsity teams. On-campus sports venues include the Jon M. Huntsman Center, and Rice–Eccles Stadium – the site for Pac-12 Conference football games.
Spanning four days, the festival has grown to become the state's largest outdoor arts event, drawing approximately 80,000 people. The Utah Arts Festival features more than 100 performing arts groups, over 140 visual artists, over 18 culinary artists, five stages of live performances, and a film festival – and kids have a blast in Art Yard.
Featuring over 17,000 works of art, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts is located on the University of Utah campus, near Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum offers exhibits, activities, and tours to visitors of all ages.
Under the direction of Gretchen Dietrich, past exhibits have included Splendid Heritage: Perspective on American Indian Art, and the popular Andy Warhol's Dream America: Screen prints from the Collection of the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation.
Completed in 1916, the Utah State Capitol building is located on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah. As the house of government for the state of Utah, it holds the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, Governor, Attorney General and more.
Designed by Richard A. Kletting, its striking neoclassical Corinthian architecture most notably features a dome which reaches 285 feet above Capitol Hill. Visitors are invited to the first floor of the building, which offers exhibits, a gift shop, and tours through the building’s lavish interior.
