Days of '47 Parades

The Days of '47 Parades are a celebration of when the first pioneer settlers arrived in Salt Lake City, in 1847. The settlers, led by Brigham Young, made their way to the Utah Territory to create a new life. This spirit serves as inspiration for today's festivities. Bring your sleeping bags and camp-out on the streets of downtown Salt Lake City, the night before the parade for a fun experience.

Deseret News Marathon

The Deseret News Marathon is a USATF sanctioned and certified marathon, through the streets of Salt Lake City.
