The seat of Carbon County, Price is a lively city set in central Utah – 75 miles southeast of Provo. Price is home to Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah, also known as USU Eastern, which is the site of the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum. Featuring specimens from the Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, the museum was open in 1961 and features exhibits on Fremont culture, Utah’s Ice Age, and the Utahraptor.
