Help ring in the New Year at the Hale Centre Theatre, one of SLC’s top venues, and a short drive in from North Salt Lake. When you visit on December 31st, don’t miss the Hale Centre Theatre New Year’s Eve Celebration, with shows at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
You’ll want to experience Tommy The Rock Opera when you visit SLC and nearby Park City this winter. Check out the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, host venue of Tommy The Rock Opera – December 30th through January 3rd. It’s a no-brainer for any fans of The Who. Drive in from nearby Coalville and see for yourself.
The winter and holiday season in SLC does yield an array of excellent stage performances, but there’s still a riveting local sports scene to check out. On January 5th, head for the EnergySolutions Arena, home of the Utah Jazz, and watch as they take on the Indiana Pacers. Experience some of the best NBA action on you next early-January visit to SLC and northern Utah.
EnergySolutions Arena also hosts Walking with Dinosaurs, an ideal week-long event for the entire family. Walking with Dinosaurs is an arena performance based on the award winning BBC television show of the same name. Beginning on January 6th, Walking with Dinosaurs will thrill families in SLC.
