The Utah Shakespeare Festival continues its 52nd season in Cedar City with performances through October. The Randall L. Jones Theatre hosts performances of Peter and the Starcatcher, Richard II, and the Marvelous Wonderettes through October 19th. Moab’s beautiful fall weather is ideal for a run through the red rocks and high desert terrain. The 2013 Project Athena Moab Trail Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K Adventure Run is November 2nd. The Moab races are sanctioned by USA Track & Field and include the Trail Half Marathon National Championship. With the La Sal Mountains as a backdrop, the course takes runners through Behind the Rocks Wilderness, giving runners views of Pritchett, Hunter and Kane Creek Canyons, as well a glimpses into Canyonlands National Park.

Make a long-weekend in Moab November 1st through the 3rd to catch the marathon and the 11th Annual Moab Folk Festival.
